Our weekday evening jams are dedicated to anyone who wishes to learn the ropes and experience some shibari, all levels of expertise are welcome. We kick the evening off with a tie-along. Please note this is NOT a dedicated “workshop”, but a taster session. The aim is to provide a short practical session for those who are curious about rope for the first 1.5 hours, you then have the rest of the evening to jam, play and lab in a safe supervised environment.

You are welcome to join on your own and self tie. We provide opportunities for people to pair up or work in groups if they wish. However, there is no obligation to do so, observing is perfectly normal and welcome and we’ve got a comfy space for you to do this from as well a library of resources to peruse. Please note we are a small venue with a limited capacity.

We aim to show you a mixture of what we call “building blocks” and fun ties to use in a playful setting each month. We do not cover any particular topic in depth and there is no set progression between our jams, although you will likely learn new things every time you join us.

Schedule:

- Doors open at 7pm

- Taster class and induction from 7:30pm to 9pm 

- Open tying and socialising from 9pm to 11pm

- Doors close at 11pm
