Finding your safe space: Three-element experience to help you reconnect with your sensual body, feel safer in your skin, and find your inner calm - Overview

This three-element experience has been developed to help you:

 

  1. Reconnect with your sensual body

  2. Find your inner calm, and

  3. Learn how to help yourself feel safe in your skin when life puts you off balance. 

Sometimes unexpected feelings and body reactions come up when we're exploring our fantasies and desires, or when we're simply in a safe environment. 

Sometimes the stress of life is enough to send us into a fight, flight or freeze mode, which neither helps our life, nor is it good for our romantic relationships. 

Sometimes we don't know where the feelings are coming from, but we just don't feel good and safe in our body – and we want that to change.  

If you've experienced any of this, this event is for you. 

You will be guided through surprisingly effective practices that will ground you so you can tune in with yourself, to ask yourself a question: "How am I, really?"

You will come away with tools you can use on your own to help yourself find inner peace and readily access your safe place. 

And you will enjoy energy balancing and chakra empowerment through cleansing, beautiful energy work.  

We will then have time for tea to integrate and reflect on what you have discovered, and to socialise.

Part one

Opening circle

Grounding and tuning in with yourself with Tantric and connection practices.  

Part two

Practical tools you can use on your own to help yourself feel safe in your skin when you need it

Somatic exercises and a gentle Kundalini yoga kriya

Part three

Guided Reiki meditation for relaxation and energy balancing

Closing circle.

There are some partner practices, but there is no physical interaction between participants. 

This is a workshop created specifically to help you check in with yourself, open up your own safe and delicious "me time", and to give yourself the nurturing you need.

No preparation needed. Please wear comfortable clothing and bring your water bottle. Bringing a journal for self-reflections can be useful.

This is a workshop for those who are looking to reconnect with their body, learn how to self-regulate their nervous system and support their healing from trauma that's being stored in their body, and to destress. 

(It is not a substitute for therapy. Please seek out professional help if you need it to process trauma.)

Inna Goncharenko is a sexual empowerment coach.
